This project presents a coordinated lighting application for a modern seaside resort hotel. The illuminated areas include guest corridors, the reception lobby, ocean-facing lounges, a covered pool terrace and a restaurant.
With expansive sea views and generous daylight, the objective was not simply to increase brightness. The lighting needed to preserve the relaxed character of the architecture after sunset and create a continuous guest experience from the corridors to the public and leisure areas.
Recessed LED downlights and concealed linear lighting form the main lighting layers. The downlights provide functional and circulation illumination, while the indirect lighting defines ceilings, walls and architectural edges. Together, they support hotel operations without distracting from the interior design or the surrounding landscape.
A seaside resort must support safe circulation and daily operations while creating a memorable hospitality experience. The key requirements included:

In hospitality spaces with extensive glazing, bright luminaires can create reflections that compete with the outdoor view.
